Why Nook

For the parent doing the remembering.

Built for mothers with ADHD, Nook brings quick logs, visible routines and simple handovers to the parts of early motherhood that can feel overwhelming. Useful for any parent or carer with a lot to remember.

How it works

From the next feed to the next appointment.

Log sleep, feeds, nappies, play and mood in a few taps. Each entry joins a timeline you can check or share when someone else takes over.

Health notes

Keep medical notes, medication logs and appointments together for the next visit or handover.

Family keepsakes

Log milestones, add photos to your private album and send personal e-cards to the people you love.

Sleep and rhythm

A short nap changes what comes next.

Nook calculates likely sleep windows from the naps you record, recent patterns and your family's routine. A shorter nap can bring the next window forward. These are explainable estimates, not answers generated by an AI chatbot.

Shared care

They can pick up where you left off.

Heading out or taking a break? Send the next carer a snapshot of recent sleep, feeds, nappies and play. Nook Ping also helps you ask for practical help, from a fresh nappy to a coffee.

Share your subscription with up to five other eligible Apple family members. See how family sharing works.

Guidance

Newborn needs. Toddler changes. Preschool days.

Tracking views and guidance update automatically as your child moves through each age and stage, up to age five. Sleep, feeding and play information draws on Australian Government guidance and trusted services including Raising Children Network and Pregnancy, Birth and Baby. You can open the references in the app.

Beyond tracking

First steps. Favourite games. Ordinary afternoons.

Some things are useful to look back on. Others are simply lovely to remember.

Cards to keep

A card with their voice in it.

Turn through it full screen, or save the photos and words as a PDF keepsake.

How sleep estimates work

What goes into the next window?

Logged sleep is a record. Suggested timing is a calculation. Nook keeps the two visibly separate, so you can always tell which you are looking at.

01 · THE RECORD

Actual time asleep.

Awake breaks are excluded from recorded sleep. Recent naps and wake periods provide the starting point for the next estimate.

02 · THE CALCULATION

The short-nap adjustment.

A nap that lasts half your saved minimum reduces the next usual wake period by half. You can change those starting values to suit your family.

This short-nap adjustment is Nook's own planning rule, not a clinical recommendation.
03 · YOUR ROUTINE

Bedtime still matters.

Your preferred bedtime helps shape later estimates, so the next suggested nap takes the evening into account.

Estimates are a planning aid, not promises or medical advice. Your baby's cues and advice from your health professional come first. Source organisations do not endorse Nook or its calculations.
